Copyright & Content Policy
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service.
Our content
The Tile Stage software, the studio, every Space (the room photographs, their cut-outs, shadow and reflection layers and geometry), the catalogue, the brand marks and this site are the property of CoreOctal and its licensors and are protected by the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and international treaties. They are licensed to Customers for staging their tiles, never sold. Copying, scraping, downloading, redistributing or reusing a Space outside a Render made in the studio is prohibited and is enforced.
Customer content
Tile images, logos, company details and brochure texts uploaded or typed by a Customer remain the Customer's property. The Customer confirms it holds the rights to them and grants us only the licence needed to run the service (see the Terms of Service, clause 4).
Renders
A Render is a combination of our Space and the Customer's tile. The Customer may use its Renders for its own sales, design and marketing, including in material given to its customers; it may not sell them as stock imagery, strip the tile to recover the Space, or use them for a competing service.
Reporting infringing content
If you believe content in Tile Stage (an uploaded tile image, a logo, a brochure, a Space) infringes your copyright, trade mark or other right, write to — with: your name, organisation and contact details; the work you own and proof of ownership or authority; where the content is (the company, tile or page); a statement made in good faith that the use is not authorised; and your signature. We acknowledge within 24 hours, remove or disable access to content that is clearly infringing within 36 hours of a complete notice, inform the uploader, and allow a counter-notice. Repeat infringers lose their accounts. False notices may attract liability under the law.
Trade marks
"Tile Stage", the TS mark and "CoreOctal" are our trade marks. They may not be used without written permission except to refer to the service truthfully.
